That Excess Weight I Just Can’t Get Rid Of
(Side of the Hand) Even though I have this excess weight that I just can’t get rid of,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself,
Even though I have this excess weight that I just can’t get rid of,
I deeply and completely love and accept myself,
Even though I have this excess weight that I just can’t get rid of,
This extra weight that weighs me down,
This excess weight that hangs so heavy,
This unwanted weight that makes me sad,
This weight that makes my look bad,
This weight that makes me feel bad,
This weight that is bad,
Or so everybody says,
This weight that will kill me according to the doctors,
This weight that will make me unpopular,
According to the TV,
This weight that I hate,
I deeply and completely love, forgive and accept myself,
And anyone and anything else that contributes to my worry.
(Eyebrow Point) This excess weight,
(Side of the Eye) This excess weight,
(Under the Eye) This excess weight,
(Under the Nose) This excess weight,
(Under the Mouth) This ugly weight,
(CollarBone Point) This worrisome weight,
(Under the Arm) This weighty weight,
(Top of the Head) I just can’t get rid of this weight.
(Eyebrow Point) I can’t get rid of this weight,
(Side of the Eye) I try to do everything,
(Under the Eye) I exercise,
(Under the Nose) I watch what I eat,
(Under the Mouth) I watch what I drink,
(CollarBone Point) And the weight just keeps on coming,
(Under the Arm) And the worry just keeps on going,
(Top of the Head) And there is nothing that I can do about it.
(Eyebrow Point) I can’t stop worrying about this weight,
(Side of the Eye) Or, maybe, I won’t stop worrying about this weight,
(Under the Eye) I think about it all the time,
(Under the Nose) I worry about it all the time,
(Under the Mouth) It makes me sad,
(CollarBone Point) It makes me uncomfortable,
(Under the Arm) So I focus on this extra weight,
(Top of the Head) I have to focus on the weight.
(Eyebrow Point) I know that if I worry enough the weight will go away,
(Side of the Eye) More worry will make it go faster,
(Under the Eye) Even though that hasn’t helped yet,
(Under the Nose) I know that if I just worry hard enough,
(Under the Mouth) The weight will go away,
(CollarBone Point) I know that if I focus on what I don’t want,
(Under the Arm) It will go away,
(Top of the Head) But that just doesn’t sound right.
(Eyebrow Point) The Law of Attraction says,
(Side of the Eye) I get more of what I focus on,
(Under the Eye) And it also says,
(Under the Nose) The Universe doesn’t understand No,
(Under the Mouth) And so,
(CollarBone Point) Maybe I have this backwards,
(Under the Arm) Maybe this focus on my weight is the problem,
(Top of the Head) Maybe I am contributing to this problem.
(Eyebrow Point) But the weight is real,
(Side of the Eye) Of course, so are thoughts,
(Under the Eye) So, if I stop the thoughts, maybe I’ll stop the weight,
(Under the Nose) But how do I do that,
(Under the Mouth) I feel the weight,
(CollarBone Point) I see the weight,
(Under the Arm) I hate the weight,
(Top of the Head) And maybe that is the problem.
(Eyebrow Point) Maybe food is not the problem,
(Side of the Eye) Maybe drink is not the problem,
(Under the Eye) Maybe exercise is not the problem,
(Under the Nose) Maybe this is not my fault at all,
(Under the Mouth) Maybe this weight is not even me,
(CollarBone Point) Maybe this weight is just a memory replaying itself,
(Under the Arm) Maybe this weight is just a limiting belief,
(Top of the Head) Maybe I just need to clear this belief.
(Eyebrow Point) If I let go of the weight,
(Side of the Eye) It will let go of me,
(Under the Eye) If I see myself as thin and healthy,
(Under the Nose) The Universe will see me that way too,
(Under the Mouth) And the funny thing is,
(CollarBone Point) No one else really seems to notice this weight like I do,
(Under the Arm) No one else has said anything really,
(Top of the Head) Could I be making this worse than it is.
(Eyebrow Point) But my clothes don’t fit right,
(Side of the Eye) So I am right,
(Under the Eye) The weight is real,
(Under the Nose) Of course, so are my thoughts,
(Under the Mouth) Thoughts are things,
(CollarBone Point) Things like pounds,
(Under the Arm) Pounds that I think about,
(Top of the Head) So Maybe I need to go on a thought diet.
(Eyebrow Point) I love myself,
(Side of the Eye) I respect myself,
(Under the Eye) I appreciate myself,
(Under the Nose) I am a good, healthy, happy person,
(Under the Mouth) I am going to start a thought diet,
(CollarBone Point) I am going to feed myself healthy, happy thoughts,
(Under the Arm) I am stopping heavy, weighty thoughts,
(Top of the Head) I look in the mirror and see myself as the person I know I am.
(Eyebrow Point) I am a beautiful, healthy person,
(Side of the Eye) I am exactly the shape I want to be,
(Under the Eye) And every day, in every way,
(Under the Nose) I am getting better and better and better,
(Under the Mouth) I feed myself only positive, affirmative thoughts,
(CollarBone Point) I live in the moment and I am joyful,
(Under the Arm) I am exactly the weight I want to be when I want to be,
(Top of the Head) I truly love forgive and accept myself.
(Eyebrow Point) I am letting go of the worry,
(Side of the Eye) About the weight and everything else,
(Under the Eye) I am accepting the joy of a happy Universe,
(Under the Nose) I love my new thought diet,
(Under the Mouth) And I love feeding myself great thoughts,
(CollarBone Point) I am happy and I am healthy,
(Under the Arm) I am excited to be me,
(Top of the Head) I greatfully and joyfully let go of my worry and embrace joy now.
